My family is a middle class family whereby to get what you want after school is hard. After finishing my S.6 everything became harder and I resorted to be a job seeker. I searched for jobs but most had strings attached like sex and paying to get it and others were rendering low salaries.
Meanwhile in my vacation I started my small business with 20000 shillings but when I attended the youth report business workshop I was given knowledge on getting credit and resources, This helped to boost my business and out of which I started a piggery business which is being run by my uncle now as I am studying.
I am now in a nursing school studying mid-wifery. I have become an innovator for other youth like me as I give them business advice. I always advise them not to consider job seeking but rather job creating to avoid being dependants. I thank u-report for the job well done and big up to all U-reporters out there who are making a difference in other people’s lives.
